The NATE-Certification Advantage

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning proudly sends NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes in North America every day. While this title of being Nate-Certified surely sounds comforting, what does it really mean?
nate certified technicians

NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was created by and has been supported by the entire HVACR industry for nearly 20 years. However, not all technicians in the industry have to be NATE-Certified. The certification is discretionary and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems without the accreditation.

It’s important to Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are sending the most qualified technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these standards, the NATE-Certification exams validate real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that evaluate the technician’s understanding of these guidelines.

Since Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses largely on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians achieve their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may earn certification in any of these areas:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Air Distribution
  • Gas Heating
  • Oil Heating
  • Heat Pumps
  • Hydronic Gas (service only)
  • Hydronics Oil (service only)
  • Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
  • Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst

You can be assured that the technicians at Service Experts are highly competent and professional and will do the job the proper way from the start. Our company has the ability and skill set to not only repair your HVAC systems, but to take the best care of your equipment. Call 440-252-1375 to have one of our NATE-Certified experts inspect your HVAC system to be sure that it is prepared to ensure your family’s comfort throughout the year.
